Please be advised a vacancy now exists on the Sullivan City Council for Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvements. The City Council will appoint a city resident to serve as Commissioner for the period of December 16, 2020 through May 10, 2021, at which time the then remaining two years of the term of office will be filled by there person elected at the Consolidated General Election to be held April 6, 2021. To be eligible for appointment the person must be a qualified registered voter in the City and have been a resident of the City of Sullivan for not less than one year immediately prior to the date of the appointment. Residents wishing to be considered for appointment to the vacancy are urged to send a letter of interest to the following address:
